Dear Friends -

I’m going to tell you I think you are going to love this full new life you will have. I’ve been spelling for almost 10 years. I love my life now. I write poetry, I’ve joined friends to talk in groups, I’ve co-taught poetry and songwriting classes. I hope you know you can tell god whatever you need. He listens. I love opening hearts. I'm your protector. I protect your hoping heart. I know you hope to communicate your kindness and intelligence. You're going to do this and so much more. You’re not free yet but help is here.

My name is Joshua Greiner. I am a non-speaking autistic man. 

My mouth doesn’t work to talk. I started learning to spell to communicate when I was 13 years old. It is impossible to really control my body. Most of my life, people didn’t know I was intelligent because I couldn’t speak. The interior is the opposite of the exterior in the people with autism. 

​I’m testing a high level of hope in the world. I believe in kindness, respect and love for everyone. It really helps to uplift the hopes of people with autism. They deserve to be given the kindness of people just like everyone else.

I primarily enjoy spending time in nature. I love the hopeful insights I get when surrounded by the trees. To go to the mountains or the beach are my church. God is there quietly listening to my thoughts for people to be kind.
